Meg is a former elite-level hockey player for McGill University and the Wingstar de Montréal (NWHL). Since becoming the General Manager with Les Canadiennes, Meg has contributed to the organisation’s incredible growth, and won three Clarkson Cup championships with the team. A communications professional with a diverse background in new media, marketing and sports management, her goal is to provide the best environment for the world’s top players and to help them build a professional league that connects with new fans. Committed to growing the grassroots game in her adopted Quebec and showcasing the incredible role-models on the team, Meg has also helped launch Les Canadiennes’ youth camps and clinics. Prior to her work with the CWHL, Meg was a long-time editor at alt-weekly Hour Magazine, and still contributes to some of Canada’s best publishing outlets as a writer and videographer. Following her experience at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games as Press Chief for women’s hockey, Hélène Lapointe decided to get involved with the Montréal team doing media relations. The discussions around the future of women’s hockey motivated her to increase the profile of the sport in the region and the country. She has contributed to many international sports events including nine Olympic Games, two FINA World Championships and two Panamerican Games. She works for the Québec City and Montréal Grands Prix. Fiona grew up watching her mother play hockey in small town Northern Labrador, took to the ice herself when she was 4, and captained the Cambridge University Women’s Ice Hockey Club while pursuing her PhD in England. She now plays hockey at a recreational level and is exceedingly proud to be associated with the Les Canadiennes organization and the CWHL. She is working to raise public awareness of the phenomenal level of women’s hockey being played in our community, to increase the recognition and support for our female athletes, the team and the league, and to create links with girls’ and women’s hockey organisations, facilitating their access to these inspiring role models. Ticketing & Merchandise
Among her many responsibilities, Sandra looks after ticketing and merchandise. Although she only discovered women’s hockey two years ago, Sandra was immediately impressed with the athletic passion, positive community atmosphere and energy surrounding the CWHL. She takes great pride in her work with Les Canadiennes, providing assistance to her home team athletes and the CWHL as well as helping to promote women’s hockey in her community. Operations & Logistics
Alexandra makes her debut in 2001 at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. Working in cultural events, as amongst others, Director of Operations of the Just For Laughs Festival and Quebec’s National Day celebrations, she sets foot into sports events in 2014, merging both passions that represent event planning and high level sports. Following her contract as Stadium Operations Manager for
FIFA’s Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 ™, she’s invited to join at the Olympic Stadium’s event logistic team, to then the mandate of Operations, Events and Maintenance Manager for the Olympic Park.
Safia is in her first year with the team. She recently completed a graduate degree in journalism at Concordia University and a four-month internship at the Montreal Gazette. Her passion for sports and feminism is what drew her to Les Canadiennes. Contact: [email protected]

Shawn has been evolving in the world of graphic design for the past 20 years. His passion for design and insatiable search for new challenges led him to launch Gauthier designers in 1992. An E-Business Management Graduate with a passion for online marketing, Alexya has always been fascinated with new technologies and their impacts on organizations. A figure skater in her youth, she enjoyed participating in ice sports such as hockey, figure skating and speed skating. It’s with great enthusiasm that she shares and unites her passion for social media and hockey with Les Canadiennes.

Céline initiated a self-taught approach to photography in 2010. It became a true passion, and she has dedicated herself to sports photography since 2013. She started with football and then became interested in women’s hockey. She joined the CWHL starting in the 2015-16 season.

With an expertise in logistics and having worked for major sporting and cultural events, Lise-Marie joined Les Canadiennes last season in order to increase the profile of the CWHL and offer a memorable game–day experience to hockey enthusiasts.
Eric is in his ninth year as a scorekeeper/announcer, and this is his seventh season as the “Voice of the Stars”. He was the official scorekeeper/announcer of the 2014 Clarkson Cup Championships and of the historic game at the Bell Centre on Dec. 10 2016. He’s the proud father of 5 young Canadiennes Fans!
Yan has been with Les Canadiennes for three seasons and is passionate about creating a fun game-day atmosphere through his music selections. He has been a long-time party DJ and has a young family, who are avid fans of Les Canadiennes.
