HILARY KNIGHT NAMED TO TEAM USA ROSTER FOR RIVALRY SERIES

Montreal, QC (Jan.  29, 2019) –– Hilary Knight was named to the Team USA roster for the Rivalry Series against Canada in February.

Knight, who is playing her first full season with Les Canadiennes, captured a gold medal at the 4 Nations Cup in November 2018. She won her first Olympic gold medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Games and has been crowned a World Champion seven times.

“Les Canadiennes congratulate Hilary Knight on her nomination to the Rivalry Series,” said General Manager Meg Hewings. “Hilary and the US national team have played an instrumental role in pushing women’s hockey to new heights, and we fully expect Hilary’s powerful presence and impressive shot to wow fans during this showcase.”

The series will take place in Ontario and Michigan and feature many of the best players in the world.

Game 1: Feb. 12, 7 pm EST, Budweiser Gardens in London, ONT.

Game 2: Feb. 14, 7 pm EST, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ONT.

Game 3: Feb. 17, 12 pm EST, Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MICH.
